Going Old School Never Looked So Good
I personally love using a lot of mixed media in my content, from VHS to MiniDV and especially film whenever I can. The issue is always that it is expensive to have the film processed and digitized so not all budgets can support this unique look. That’s why when Wolverine Data contacted me about their new 8mm/Super8 film digitizer, I was really interested in seeing if they were the solution I’ve been looking for. What resulted was a quick campaign that involved a spirited unboxing video along with a quick and honest review of the product that was released strategically right before the holidays and targeted at consumers that may be looking to buy a competitor’s brand. Formatting both for social and YouTube, the hand crafted content gave perfect credibility to the quality of the product, since it was coming from a reliable and professional source, such as myself. This is the quick and fun type of review campaign that I enjoy doing for a multitude of brands, where there is no need to manufacture any commercial content since using the product in real life is the best way to show off it’s excellence.
